We're Pregnant!!! January 2013
First Trimester
In late January of 2013, Grant and I were on the way home from Bible Study at some friends' house and I mentioned that I hadn't had my period yet in January. As it was the 22nd of the month, we both thought that was a little strange. We looked at each other and said "should we get a test?" :) Well, we should have bought SEVERAL, as when we got home and the test gave us a very slight positive, we had to go out and buy more! As you can see from the photo above, we ended up getting several tests (I think we actually took 8 in all) and they all said we were PREGNANT! We were both SO excited!!!!
Guess What, Mom and Dad Sem?! We are expecting your grandbaby!! We fibbed a bit and told Mom and Dad Sem that we wanted to take more 'family photos' in 2013 (new year's resolutions and all), but they didn't know that we were actually videotaping their reaction to Grant's photo countdown. :) February 16, 2013
To tell Grant's family, we made a t-shirt for Cameron that said 'Uncle Cameron' and video called them on his birthday (February 20). The whole family was gathered at Bomma and Bobo's house, and we asked Cameron if he wanted to see his gift-- we hadn't sent it in the mail yet, but we wanted to show him what he could be expecting in the mail. I held the shirt up for him and it took him a second to realize what was going on. He then said a few choice words (happily, of course) and turned the screen around for the rest of the family to see. Aunt Susan was the most comedic in her response! The whole family is excited!!!!!

To tell Grant's family, we made a t-shirt for Cameron that said 'Uncle Cameron' and video called them on his birthday (February 20). The whole family was gathered at Bomma and Bobo's house, and we asked Cameron if he wanted to see his gift-- we hadn't sent it in the mail yet, but we wanted to show him what he could be expecting in the mail.
